You have a little less than a month to finish your rough draft! If you've signed up and found that you cannot finish it on time, you can easily delete your sign-up comment here. If you haven't signed up yet and are sure you'll finish...sign-ups are still here and are still open.

...Okay. For that many words? I think I might be willing to bend the rules a bit because you deserve something.

I have this thing about being succinct. NAMELY, I CAN'T. (This is why I haven't officially signed up yet; I knew that this beast was going to be ridiculously long, and didn't know if I'd find a decent stopping point partway through.)

If I can't get through the whole, you know, plot and stuff, I can probably end it at the end of one of the sections (there are a few natural-ish stopping places) -- but man, I really really want to get through the whole thing. *g* I think it's probably got about another 100,000 words to go, but ask anyone, I am usually very wrong about things like this -- I once predicted a story would be around 12,000 words; at last count the series was well into the 300,000 range. So, depending on how the writing progresses (and it is a very, very, very slow-paced story, deliberately so -- I wanted to wallow) it could need anything from 100,000 more words to 250,000 more words.

I am hoping I will get to a good temporary stopping place by the deadline, though. *G*

I've finished a first part of it that could work as a stand-alone and is above the word count--now to see if I can get the rest of it done in time.

I am really glad sign-ups stay open until June 3rd, because it will probably take me exactly that long to figure out if I'll be able to pull this off. >.>

...technically 'whenever I wake up on the 4th' but do try to get it done by 11:59pm your timezone at least. I won't be making the cut off until that time's past for most time zones though.
