Round 2! Mingling post! GO.

We'll be keeping this informal since I doubt the majority of people are ready to commit right this second.

This is a completely optional post for writers to toss up their possible ideas for this round so potential media creators can hop in and help the process along. People can also cheer on ideas that they would love to read, even if they don't feel they'd be able to create anything for it at this time.

Writers, simply follow this format when posting so everything can look nice and neat:

Still undecided if I'll sign up - I've never done a big bang before. ^^; I-I guess I'll just leave these here?

Fandom(s): Resident Evil
Character(s)/Pairing(s): A WHOLE BUNCH. But uh right now it's looking very Chris-Leon-Claire-centric. And Jill because she is everyone's BFF.
Vague story idea: VIRUSES EVERYWHERE (but especially in one corner of the world that I have not settled on yet) Bioterrorists. What happens when the BSAA/Terrasave/US Gov't are all working in the same place, but with different aims. Also: Laser-dodging, boulder-punching action!!!, and maybe maybe some slash where Chris and Leon have a heart-to-heart about their backstabbing blond ex-boyfriends, idek.

And the second idea which I am less likely to do, as it is fueled primarily by sequel rage.

Character(s)/Pairing(s): Aya and Daniel, COP BUDDIES
Vague story idea: A buddy-cop comedy horror, set between Parasite Eve 1 & 2. Would cover the discovery of Neo-Mitochrondian Creatures and Aya's recruitment to the FBI/founding of M.I.S.T. Writing this would be therapy for playing through the unrelenting awfulness of The 3rd Birthday. :|

The gameplay is pretty good, but the oh god the story is terrible. The plot is incoherent, the ending 'twist' is M. Night Shyamalan worthy, and the characters from the first two games have been changed drastically. Maeda's a pervert, Kyle's unbearably smug and ~mysterious~, and Aya spends the first half of the game as a meek, unexperienced...time-travelling body possessing soldier. (Yeah.)

Also, there's a gameplay mechanic that destroys Aya's clothing as she takes damage. While she cries and moans in pain at each hit. There's no way to turn off this feature from what I can tell (and oh man did I look). It's purely aesthetic, too - it has no effect on her stats and doesn't correlate to her HP or anything.

So really, it's not just bad, it's offensively bad. :|

I love Resident Evil but Parasite Eve needs more love in comparison..
