I am not sure if I will have internet access when the rough draft due date, August 1st, passes. That is also the day when all media matches should have been made and I am still waiting on e-mail responses for media creators and betas.

It wouldn't be fair to take away the few days left for writers to hammer out issues, and it wouldn't be fair to take away a possible week's worth of work for media creators and betas. Since it would be better to give everyone more time than to suddenly cut it back, I will be pushing the rest of the deadlines one week back.

Rough drafts will now be due by August 7th. If you've already finished, then you can e-mail it as a .doc or .rtf file to seizeglory[at]gmail[dot]com, and I'll try and get it to your match ahead of time. Early birds get the worms first!

Media and beta'd fics will now be due by September 22nd. The posting still starts on the 1st of September, but we will be lengthening the posting period by a week.

Ha, I feel incredibly lucky right now. Instead of just barely making the deadline, I can clean up the sections that are bothering me and get a much less uneven draft. Thanks! :D

...wow omg so grateful for this. Now I can do a *good* job of finishing my draft, not a "Jesus Christ it's a lion get in the car" job. (Moving fucked my writing schedule way more than anticipated.)

:-) I have to admit that the extra time is welcomed. Like a poster said above, this will allow me to do a more polished rough draft.

And if nobody can do Wizard of Wor stuff, I can always snap a couple of screencaps in my Commodore 64 emulator or something. ;-) No sweat!
